✶ About The Farm ✶

Legacy Farm is the Waltman Family Farm. The land has been a farm for over 100 years. When we took over we wanted this to be an expression of our “Legacy” which also involves helping other families develop their family legacy. We came into this historic farm with no farming experience, which has been quite a journey. A large part of our family’s background has been in the area of community events and athletics. In fact Chris, affectionately known as Papa to the family started his career as a Dallas Cowboy.

The family has been working hard to present to the community and region a place to grow legacies of fun, family and faith. The Festival itself benefits the non-profit organization STARs Unlimited who works to facilitate relational connections through communities, business, schools, churches and other non-profit organizations.

Legacy Farm is growing through the generosity of friends and community. As an “agri-tourism venue” we are looking forward to growing our offerings and increasing seasonal festivals and other opportunities.

Location & Hours
2026 Fall Schedule

Our farm is open seasonally, weekends only and is opening to the public on September 25th, 2026 (see dates and times below). Please inquire about your events (weddings, parties, corporate get-togethers, field trips, etc.). Stay tuned for news of *new* 2026 events and don't forget to join us again this year for Fall & Christmas fun at the Legacy Farm Fall Festival & Old Country Christmas! We are looking forward to meeting you and growing through the years to bring new memories and fun to the Sky Valley area and beyond.
